Become a qualified person for screening and crushing plant testing with LTS
As a qualified person, you are officially trained to inspect potentially hazardous equipment in your company and confirm its safe use – including the various categories of screening and crushing plants. The legal basis for this is laid down in the Technical Rules for Operational Safety (TRBS) 1201 and 1203, and the LTS Academy provides this training to you or your employees through a combined, compact course consisting of e-learning modules and a one-day in-person session with an examination. Your participation saves you the time and expense of regular inspections by external experts. An inspection by a qualified person is essential because screening plants, and especially crushing plants, operate with sometimes immense pressure and friction forces, and malfunctions or improper use can therefore pose a risk to life and limb.
Requirements:
In order to be able to carry out the necessary UVV inspection of screening and crushing plants as a qualified person, you need a completed technical vocational training or other technical qualification that enables you to inspect and assess the work equipment, as well as demonstrable practical experience with the work equipment (TRBS1203).

Thanks to blended learning, you can complete up to three UVV inspector qualifications simultaneously.
The LTS Academy offers blended learning, allowing you to familiarize yourself with the most important fundamentals of the respective subject area using e-learning modules before the actual course day. You'll learn all the relevant regulations that you, for example, need to observe as a qualified person for inspecting screening plants. This approach ensures you are optimally prepared for the various questions on the day of the course and can use your time on-site to acquire and certify your qualifications as a qualified person for up to two additional subject areas. We will, of course, provide you with corresponding e-learning modules for this purpose as well.
