Qualified person for UVV vehicle inspections
in accordance with DGUV V 70 (formerly BGV D29) and DGUV G 314-003 (formerly BGG 916)

Fit for the UVV test as a car expert – thanks to training at the LTS Academy
To ensure the operational safety of a company's entire vehicle fleet at all times, all vehicles must undergo a safety inspection (UVV) at least once a year. If you would like to conduct these inspections in-house instead of hiring an external qualified vehicle inspector, the LTS Academy is the right place for you. Our training program teaches you how to professionally inspect company vehicles in accordance with DGUV regulations. Learn more here and register directly online for the next course.
Vehicles used in a company are considered work equipment, just like other machinery and devices. To ensure that employees are not endangered while working on and with company vehicles, the roadworthiness and operational safety of cars and similar vehicles must be guaranteed at all times. As a general rule, personnel must check the vehicle for any visible defects before each journey. In particular, the following parts should be checked for completeness and functionality:
brakes
Motor and drive
lighting equipment
Wheels
Steering system
Accesories.
Any defects must be reported to the person responsible, e.g. the fleet manager; the vehicle must be taken out of service if it poses a potential risk to occupational safety.
In addition to routine checks, Section 57 of DGUV Regulation 70 requires a safety inspection (UVV) for vehicles at least once a year by a qualified person. You can either outsource this inspection, for example through the LTS Academy, or have it carried out internally by your company. This saves you costs and valuable time. Our trained, certified instructors will gladly train you or your employees to become qualified experts.

Become a qualified person for
Vehicles of all kinds
The UVV inspection of the vehicle fleet must be carried out exclusively by a qualified person for vehicles. As preparation for the training day, our participants complete an e-learning module for each booked piece of equipment. This module covers the fundamentals of expertise and provides an introduction to the relevant regulations. This ensures that participants are optimally prepared for the training day and can thus use their time effectively for in-depth study of up to three pieces of equipment.
