Befähigte Person zur Prüfung von Flurförderzeugen

We'll get you ready for the
UVV inspection of forklifts and other industrial trucks

Forklifts and similar industrial trucks are indispensable in any warehouse or production area. Therefore, it goes without saying that they are considered work equipment under the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV). Accordingly, Section 3 of the BetrSichV requires employers to conduct (or have conducted) a risk assessment for industrial trucks and, according to Section 10, to have this assessment reviewed by a qualified person (accident prevention inspector) at the determined intervals. Section 11 requires that this inspection be documented.

If you prefer not to outsource the UVV inspection for your industrial trucks, you can have it carried out by your own employees, who are thoroughly prepared thanks to training from the LTS Academy. This will certainly save you time and money!

According to DGUV V 68, which work equipment is subject to the UVV inspection of industrial trucks?

Industrial trucks as defined in regulation 68 of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) are conveying devices with and without lifting equipment, which are characterized by their design in that they:

1. Can walk on the floor with wheels and are freely steerable
2. designed for transporting, pulling or pushing loads and
3. are intended for internal use.

This also includes pedestrian-operated industrial trucks, hand pallet trucks and tractors.

We reliably train you or your employees as qualified persons or UVV inspectors for industrial trucks in accordance with the requirements of the employers' liability insurance associations, so that you can start with the UVV inspections directly after the course.

You will learn how to implement the underlying regulations in a legally compliant manner and how to carry out the UVV inspection for industrial trucks independently and professionally, as well as document it in a legally compliant manner.
